In order to ensure that the challenge of stabilising and developing the country is set on a sustainable path, CALLIPER has put in place key processes to contribute to this mission. In this regard Calliper integrates the following work streams into all stages of each project sustainably to ensure empowement of target groups of people.


Community participation at project level.

Transfer of skills to the community by means of interactive and participatory training in various disciplines.

Ownership: 80% of CALLIPER’s shareholding is in the hands of members of historically disadvantaged community.

Employment: 100% of the staff employed is from the historically disadvantaged community and 33% are women.

Staff Development: The Company pursues an on-going process of in-house training, particularly at Engineer and Technician level.

Staff Education: All members of the company are encouraged to further their formal education with ongoing financial sponsorship by the company.
