Project description

This project focused on the design of an electrification reticulation network and street lighting network. This project also involved the transfer of bulk supply to the point of connection of the proposed new electrification network. Calliper was appointed to do the planning and advise on the implementation of the project.

Project objective

The informal settlement was not electrified and there was a need to regularise electricity in the area. As part of Government’s drive for universal access to basic services, this project will provide access to electricity to the area which is in line with Government’s target.
