OUR TEAM
Romeo, a founding member and the Managing Director of the company, is a professional civil engineer and has practical experience both locally and internationally. Romeo started his career as a civil engineer at a multi-national infrastructure development firm.
With over 20 years of experience, Romeo has executed a number of infrastructure development projects and has extensive experience in the various stages of the project life cycle. Other areas of interest for Romeo are capacity building and skills transfer.
Lazarus is an experienced civil and water engineer who has successfully executed various infrastructure projects on the African continent. He believes that civil engineers are there to solve problems that have a lasting impact on both civilians and the environment.
Lazarus has a passion for training and mentoring young professionals. He shares the company’s vision of building a Pan African engineering business that uses both human capital and experience to enhance the quality of life on the African continent.
Ntombi has 20 years’ experience in banking, corporate governance and management systems. In her current role, she drives the efficiency and sustainability goals of the company.
One of her most notable accomplishments includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company’s quality management system (QMS) and ensuring compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Given her background, she is also instrumental in engineering procurement and provides leadership in this regard.
ACCREDITATION
Calliper not only supports the work of industry associations, but also aims to contribute to the body of knowledge available for the betterment of built environment professionals. As such, Calliper has established a mentorship programme in accordance with the Council for the Built Environment’s training requirement and it is also registered with professional bodies that contribute to the promotion and regulation of industry standards.
