Upgrading of Mthatha water supply

Project description

Calliper was appointed as a sub-consultant to GIBB for the supervision of construction on the Megacom Reservoir in Mthatha. The project was commissioned by Amathole Water as part of the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality Presidential Intervention Bulk Water Supply Infrastructure upgrade. The project entailed the construction of a 10ML post tensioned reinforced concrete reservoir as part of a bulk water supply for communities and towns along the Libode Corridor.

Project objective

The objective was to provide clean drinking water to the communities along the Libode Corridor.
