High housing costs and shortage of decent affordable housing in South Africa have created a significant financial burden for growing numbers of working families, especially those of low-income workers. This has undermined the assumption that full-time workers should be able to achieve a decent standard of living for themselves and their families. Calliper is committed to address this housing challenge and has to this effect put in place a housing program whereby needy families are identified and high quality houses built for them.
